i have been using the xml system for quests for about a week now, and its BRILLIANT, really, awesome. but the one thing i dislike is whn the gump is displayed when you 2x click book
the text goes something like
Kill 1 mob(s) named mob(Fluffles)
Give 5 item(s) named (Viagra Tablet) to hugh hefner (5 left)
which i suppose does explain the quest but it looks a little messy and as far as your average player would see it, well what the hell is a mob? so perhaps the above would be nicer to read as
Kill Fluffles (1 remaining)
Give hugh hefner 5 viagra tablet (5 remaining)
is this possible or am i just being too picky?
yes, it is possible. That is what the Description properties on the questholder let you do. You can assign your own custom descriptions if you dont like the defaults. Just use something like
questholder/Objective1/KILLNAMED,Fluffles,1/objective2/GIVENAMED,hugh hefner, viagra tablet,5/Description1/Kill Fluffles/Description2/Give hugh hefner 5 viagra tabletand it will appear in the questholder exactly as you described it
(edit)
oh, and as for the term "mob", here you go
