I just updated to runuo 2 and had to start from scratch, I downloaded Nerun and spawned my entire shard. now I want to download the xml spawner 2.0. But only use it for quests and to spawn additional creatures etc.. will they work together? Are my intentions practical?

yes, you can use them together without any problems.

You can also import the maps into xlmspawners if you want.
