By the Sheriff’s will I have been dropped into this realm which is at once familiar and entirely alien. And when I write that I was dropped I mean to say that I literally was. I was nigh unto drowning before those fisher folk on the docks yanked me out of the water. I’m not sure about this armor I arrived in. It chafes and it drags me down but it helps somewhat against those dirty-fighting little urchins in the woods hereabouts.
After I had done with sicking up the water I’d swallowed I was able to ask them a few questions and I have learned that this village is called New Haven and that it resides on the island of Occlo. Such a place did not exist to my mind, but then I never really was well traveled. I worked things out pretty quickly for myself though. I was just making a short stroll from the village to one of the outlying settlements when an annoying little screecher with wings half flew half crawled at me. I dispatched it but not before it scratched me.
It took me the better part of a day to get my bearings…

Gruggahh the Troll

The locals of my beloved Spiritwood have warned me of a particularly nasty troll roaming nearby. It calls itself Gruggahh, apparently and has been known to raid the nearby farms and even attack people on the road. It is said to have mottled green skin and grotesque brown teeth…
